Boys in Dance Merit Scholarship Program

Artistic Director Christopher Mohnani has launched the "Boys in Dance Merit Scholarship Program" at DTT's Academy of performing arts. Designed to produce outstanding male dancers. Boys enrolled in this program will attend tap and hip-hop classes weekly and ballet classes twice weekly. Consistent exposure to these versatile dance styles is crucial to meeting the expectations of today's top dance companies. This program is designed to encourage boys to pursue dance as a vehicle for future success. Being trained in an environment with all boys, and taught by male role models who have realized satisfying careers in dance, students understand that they are not alone in their pursuit. With the proper combination of training, perseverance and talent, boys are offered the tools they need to achieve a successful future in dance.

DTT is very proud to be the only professional school in the Nashville area to have an existing male ballet program. We are anxious to offer our exceptional training to the promising talent in our area. As a non-profit organization, we are dependant on the assistance of others to make our scholarship programs a reality.
