Shane Martin - Production Manager

Shane Martin has had a life-long interest in electronics, video production, and sound engineering. Three years ago, after meeting David and Barbara Wesner, co-founders and artistic and technical directors for an off-off Broadway theatre in New York City, he discovered that he also had a propensity for stage electrics and design. Since that time, Shane has attended conferences and seminars throughout the Southeast, including Tennessee Governor’s School for the Arts and the 2010 Southeastern Theatre Conference. His technical expertise has earned him credits in prestigious regional, community and educational theatres. Shane’s extensive knowledge of stage electrics, sound engineering, and electronic media has equipped him to serve in the demanding roles of light board operator, master electrician, audio engineer, company photographer, videographer, and technical director. He has helped produce over fifteen full-length shows, and three one-act festivals in his young history with the theatre. Shane is also adept at management, having served as stage manager for numerous productions.
