Finding a good gift for a guy in your life takes up a lot of time — unless you just go through this guide. And by the way, you can gift a lot of the cool stuff here to ladies, too.

‘Tis the season! — for stressing out over finding presents for the people you love. I’m kidding, of course. I love Christmas and the holiday season in general. And we all know it’s the thought that counts. However, there’s nothing more satisfying than giving someone a perfect gift. It feels great knowing they love it, possibly need it, and will use it well.
I filled our 2024 holiday gift guide with fun, practical, and distinct ideas. Again, finding the perfect present can take up so much time and headspace. Fortunately, we did all that thinking, researching, and sampling, so you don’t have to.
2024 Holiday Gift Guide
Truly, there’s something here for everyone. We made sure to include practical pieces that everyone can use, like ties and jackets. And, of course, all prices are represented. Since this is TMM, there’s definitely a male focus here. However, anyone can wear a waxed jacket or sip on a good scotch. Flip through this guide regardless of the gender of your receiver!
Harber London Everyday Briefcase

I’m a fan of Harbor London’s exceptional leather goods in general. The Harber London Everyday Briefcase, however, is stylistically and functionally universal. You can put your laptop and some toiletries in there if you like. The compartments ensure items that shouldn’t touch won’t touch.
It’s made from buttery full-grain leather. I remember first taking it out of the dust bag and smelling the delightful oak-like scent — that’s how you know it’s legit. It also has an understatedly lithe and elegantly matte quality. I’ve always said its design sits somewhere in between a hard-lined briefcase and a high-end purse.
If you want something a tad larger, check out the Harber London Overnight bag. This overnight duffle is perfect for quick trips and is polished and refined, just like you.
Amberjack Loafer

I love the Amberjack Originals, but I think the Amberjack Loafer more easily suits a wide range of personal styles. It can be worn on casual Fridays, at the beach, on weekends, and with thick socks in cooler seasons.
From a practical perspective, it has a soft buckskin lining and the brand’s signature sole. It also has heat-activated arch support and an insole that combines athletic flexibility with boot-like support. Moreover, the outsoles are bendy and give the shoe a touch of boat shoe casualness.
Saddleback Medium Leather Portfolio

The exceedingly handsome Saddleback Medium Leather Portfolio is so much better than a paper folder. It’s definitely better than carrying your notepad and pens loose and unfettered.
The exterior is stylish, supple leather. The interior is rugged pigskin, ensuring a fortified construction. There are several layers inside, allowing you to store documents, cards, slips, and even a pen. It’s big enough to fit an A4 notepad, a spiral notebook, or a tablet.
By the way, you can even use it as a makeshift lap desk. Talk about convenience.
Relwen Heritage Trap Blazer

The Relwen Heritage Trap Blazer can travel from dress code to dress code. It’s as architecturally composed as a traditional blazer. However, the unstructured construction provides an effortless look without compromising the class factor. Whether you love fashion or practicality, minimalism or maximalism, this jacket is for you.
The herringbone wool blend is seasonally versatile. I love how close-to-body the several pockets are. You can easily drop your items in them without interrupting the elegant silhouette.
I’ve said this several times about this jacket: It can take you from the pub to a tailgate to a board meeting. Just don’t do it in that order.
The Glenrothes Whisky 18-Year

The Glenrothes offers uniquely elegant whisky. I had the privilege of tasting a few years, including an exclusive year and an unreleased one. Fortunately, the 18-year is available at any of The Glenrothes retail partners (just Google it).
Laura, the Master Whisky Maker, ups the base flavor’s dimensionality by using sweet American casks as well as rich European casks. The result is a refined taste.
Pear and vanilla are balanced out with orange oil. There’s a lot of depth between that and a touch of ginger, even in the nose. The deep palate is aromatic and delicately spiced, with a vanilla creaminess undertone.
Frankly, it’s the perfect sipping whisky.
Mack Weldon SILVER Denim Jacket

I absolutely love the Mack Weldon SILVER Jacket. In fact, I’ve never seen such a versatile denim jacket. Even more, I’ve never been a denim jacket kind of guy until I put this one on. It has an almost chore-coat-esque silhouette. You still get the rugged aesthetic you want from a classic jean jacket, but the clean lines and slick, handsome material work for a wide range of personal styles.
Plus, this is the SILVER line. Mack Weldon makes this jacket with a special Ionic+ technology, which stops bacteria and microbe growth. Finally, this anti-odor jacket has a hint of stretch for comfort and mobility.
Bespoke Post Subscription
View this post on Instagram
Out of all the subscription boxes, Bespoke Post is my absolute favorite. They deliver boxes filled with clothes, gear, barware, and home goods. There are two main reasons why I think they’re the best.
Bespoke Post partners with unique, small brands. This means you’ll find high-quality items you can’t find anywhere else. Why would you do a subscription box with brands you see all over the place anyway? Secondly, the boxes are themed. Some themes include “off-duty,” “parlor,” or even “sizzle” for the kitchen-keen.
Tie Bar Accessories

You can never go wrong with a good tie. Chicago-based Tie Bar is my go-to place for every style of tie and even accessories. Moreover, they’ve got a great line of clothes too. Tie Bar designs their own products, offering everything from solids, patterns, and novelty ties. Want a silk knit? They’ve got it. Linen for the summer? No problem.
As someone who loves the outdoors and hunting, I love their partnership with Camp Wandawega. They offer ties with game birds and bird dogs.
Zodiac x Craft + Tailored Ref. 369 Reissue
(or any vintage piece from CT)

I’m obsessed with Craft + Tailored and Zodiac’s Ref. 369 Reissue. I particularly love the white dial version (limited to 100 pieces), though the black (400 pieces) is just as charming. This reissue represents a moment in time — a pre-Sea-Wolf moment in time. The unnamed Reference. 369 predated Zodiac’s tentpole diver.
The aesthetic is vintage but perpetually relevant, flaunting impeccable applications. There’s something so nostalgic and comforting about cursive on a watch dial. It goes hand-in-hand with how “people just don’t dress up anymore.” Dials just don’t do cursive anymore.
It runs on an STP -21M manually winding movement, allowing you to get to know your watch. And if you want an actual vintage watch, Craft + Tailored is simply the best place on the internet to find one.
Half Day Garment Duffel

The Half Day Garment Duffel is 100% the best travel bag I’ve seen in a long time. This is especially true if you need to bring a suit. The bag literally folds out into a garment bag to prevent your suit from getting wrinkled.
The compartmentalized and modular design allows you to pack everything else you need efficiently, making it a wise use of space. It’s also lightweight, carry-on-appropriate, and water-resistant, and it comes in a wide range of stylish colors.
Line of Trade Waxed Ranch Jacket

I can’t get enough of Line of Trade’s menswear essentials. Like their corduroy jacket, which I discovered during New York Fashion Week, this ranch jacket updates classic American style. Waxed jackets, first of all, are classy yet rugged pieces of casualwear that are also highly practical.
This jacket isn’t greasy despite it being hand-waxed. And, regardless of which of the traditional or modern colors you go for, it’ll be unique to you. Top that off with a cotton collar and antique brass shanks.
It’s an adaptable jacket (yes, you can even wear it over a suit for a high-low look). And, it’s traditional with modern creature comforts.
Wolf 1834 Windsor Brown Leather 10 Piece Watch Box

The Wolf 1834 Windsor 10-Piece Watch Box is sure to delight all watch lovers — no exaggeration. Here’s some advice for those with a horology enthusiast in your life. Unless you know exactly what he or she wants (perhaps you’re his or her husband or wife?), avoid gifting an actual watch. Of course, there are certain limited editions that all watch enthusiasts would appreciate. In general, watch lovers can be pretty nuanced, though.
I absolutely love how my watches stand out against the sophisticated orange silk of this box. Men will love the classy but strong aesthetic of the textured vegan leather and chrome hardware. Ladies will love the almost Hermes-coded color palette and diary-like locking system. Truly, this box is the best of all worlds. It’s a showcase, security box, and style accessory.
Rapport London Hyde Park Leather Watch Zip Case

This zip case has easily become one of my favorites to travel with. I have the two-watch tan version, which also comes as a two-watch navy gray and a four-watch case. I’m not the kind of person who suffers for fashion. But if you can find me a practical, useful item that also happens to be timelessly stylish, I’m all for it. That’s what these are. It’s practical enough of a gift that you know your recipient will get tons of use out of it. However, it’s artisanal enough that it doesn’t feel too clinical.
This hand-made box is made out of lush leather, boasts fine stitching, and a suede interior. It can be used for home storage or traveling. The design is so elegant and stately that I’m sure you’ll make the receiver feel like an important person. I certainly do when I carry mine around.
The Après Ski Pant by Taylor Stitch

Some winter days call for slipping into loungewear, sitting by the fire with a drink and listening to music from a record player. If this sounds like the ideal after-work or weekend scenario for your gift receiver (or yourself), consider The Après Ski Pants by Taylor Stitch.
They have an effortlessly cool texture and some weight behind them, keeping you warm on the coldest of days. Taylor Stitch constructs them with 8-oz. 100% organic cotton in a striking Sashiko slub texture. The best part? You can go from the couch to the street in no time. Pair them with a black flannel button-up shirt and a pair of slip-on
Taylor Stitch Minimalist Billfold Wallet

Okay, I can already hear you saying, “A wallet–how unoriginal!” I get it. However, it’s one of those things you don’t really want to buy yourself when it’s time. That’s why it actually makes a good gift. Personally, I am a huge fan of Taylor Stitch’s The Minimalist Billfold Wallet. It’s sleek and thin, and even when it’s jam-packed with cash and cards, it’s still slim.
It’s a handsome wallet constructed out of 100% full-grain Spanish cowhide. I particularly like its two-tone design. You can buy it in a black, navy blue, or brown exterior. The interior is rugged caramel-toned leather that looks like it patinas over time. If you don’t like extra bulk in your pocket, this wallet holds everything you need in a small package. If you don’t like the billfold style, Taylor Stitch also has a smaller version – The Minimalist Wallet.
Conclusion: The Right Gift for Him (or Yourself)
Regardless of what holiday you celebrate, I’m sure you’ll find a good present in this round-up. We wanted to focus on pieces that were necessities but not boring. You never want to gift something solely functional — imagine receiving a plain soap dispenser for Christmas. Even if you need it, you’ll likely think, “I could’ve gotten this myself.”
However, as practical as a jacket or duffel bag is, the ones here flaunt style and character.

Wondering if you’ve written anything on workout clothing; running shorts and shirts, gym clothes?
Update: Silas stated they have “shipping brackets” though didn’t detail specifics. They did offer a one-time free shipping promo code which was really great of them. I will be trying out a few shirts.
Agreed, will do thanks for the quick response and great posts!
Sure thing! Lmk how it goes.
Standard shipping to Philadelphia, PA.
Hmm that’s weird. Maybe email them? Seems too high.
Went to order from Silas Jackson and shipping was $15 for a couple of shirts, seems kind of excessive.
