Invisasox Review: Are These No Show Socks Any Good?

Published on September 14, 2020 by Brock McGoff · Clothing and Style

I’ve been wearing no show socks for years, and at this point, I pretty much know what I like and what to look for.

Invisasox no show socks

In this Invisasox review, I’ll break down what I like, what I don’t, and how I feel about these no show socks overall.

Invisasox Review: The Good

There are a lot of really great things about Invisasox no show socks. In fact, I’d go as far as to say that they’re the best affordable no show sock right now. Here are some of the things l like about the Invisasox.

They’re Actually No Show Socks

A lot of no show socks are not cut low enough. Unlike those socks, the sneakers, loafers, or boat shoes. You really can’t see them unless I’m wearing a pair of driving mocs or something similarly low-cut.

Regular no show vs Invisasox

Even if I’m wearing an extremely low shoe, you probably won’t notice these socks. That’s because they come in several colors, which is another tally in the pro column.

Regular no show vs Invisasox loafers

I can match these socks to most of my neutral shoes, so even if a bit pops up, no one will notice, and I retain my relaxed, carefree vibe.

They Have a Slip-Proof Heel

I really like the design of the Invisasox, specifically the gel mesh on the back of the sock. This mesh keeps the back of the sock from slipping and sliding down under my foot.

Invisasox heel grip

I’ve walked miles in the Invisasox and had no issues. They just don’t slip.

They’re Very Thin and Comfortable, and They Come in a Bunch of Sizes

They’re very thin and comfortable, as opposed to some bulkier no show socks I’ve worn. They slide nicely into some of my tighter footwear and don’t restrict my toes or foot.

Invisasox material

They also come in individual whole shoe sizes between size 7 and size 14, so I can get exactly the right fit for my foot without any extra sock material taking up room in my shoe.

Plenty of Value

Compared to some other no show socks, the Invisasox offer a lot of value. They’re a high-quality sock with a price less than $6 per pair.

Some of my favorite no show socks are almost twice that price.

Also, the more you buy, the more you save; you can buy 15 pairs for less than $5 each.

The Invisasox also come with a one-year guarantee. If I didn’t love these socks, I could return them within a year for a full refund. Clearly, Invisasox believes in their product.

Invisasox Review: The Bad

There isn’t much to complain about with these socks. There are a few things, however, that I would improve.

You Can Only Buy Them From the Invisasox Website

I might just be being difficult, but I like having choices of where I buy my socks and other clothing. With Invisasox, you can purchase them through the company’s website.

There’s no Prime or free two-day delivery, and that’s something I think we all enjoy.

They Might Show a Little

I know, I said they’re no show socks, and they really are. But occasionally, I do wear some very low-cut shoes, and these socks make an appearance every now and then.

Old vs new socks

I’ve already pointed out that you can buy Invisasox in several colors, so matched correctly, they don’t come off as tacky or obvious.

If you’re a guy who likes wearing driving mocs, there’s a chance that you’ll be able to see your Invisasox, and I felt like I should mention that.

They’ve Got Some “Big” Branding Issues

When these socks are doing their job, no one knows I’m even wearing them. But when I get home and kick off my shoes, I notice. I notice because there’s a huge Invisasox logo across the top of my foot.

Invisasox logos

That’s probably my least favorite aspect of the Invisasox. It may not be a big deal to you, and honestly, it’s not to me, either. I would just prefer a plain or at least subdued logo. I think it would make them a little classier.

They Can Be Too Thin

When I’m wearing a pair of tighter shoes, the Invisasox are great. But for looser-fitting shoes like boat shoes or a loafer, they might leave a little too much room in my shoe.

Most of the time, this sock’s thin build is a pro, but if you’ve got some shoes that require a thicker sock, the Invisasox probably won’t work.

You Have to Spend $30 to Get Free Shipping

I’ve worn a lot of no show socks, and sometimes I like to try out a pair or two before I drop a lot of money on a few pairs. With Invisasox, you have to spend $30 to get free shipping.

They don’t sell anything but socks, so it’s not like I can grab some underwear to make up the difference. So, if you want free shipping, you’re pretty much guaranteed to buy six pairs of socks.

Final Thoughts

In my opinion, the Invisasox are the best affordable no show sock on the market right now.

They fit well, they don’t fall down, and they don’t show at all, aside from when I wear some extremely low-cut shoes.

There’s room for improvement, but I don’t think you’ll find a better value when it comes to no show socks.

Agreed that they don’t look low enough, which is a dealbreaker for me. Also would prefer more patterns for when shoes are off.

Right now I’m using ones I bought on sale from the Gap or full price from Uniqlo.

Also have a pair from Anonymous(ism) that I like, but they are pricey.

I prefer thicker cotton on mine.

i found them to be too thin…my wife wore holes in hers after 2 wears and they gave her a tough time trying to get her money back…treating her like she was “wearing them wrong” if that’s even possible.

for my money, there is a brand on amazon called Mabua…u can get 5 pair for like $20 and they are awesome. i’ve tried a variety of no-shows in the past, but keep going back to mabua

love the content, keep it up…and see about getting us a deal on those sweet jump ropes

Hmm sorry to hear they gave you a hard time. I haven’t had any holes, but it may come down to foot shape and the type of shoes you wear. There definitely isn’t a wrong way to wear socks…

      I’ll check out Mabua. Thanks!
