Yes. You absolutely can wear denim on denim, or the Canadian tuxedo, as it’s affectionately known. The key to properly wearing a denim jacket with denim pants is to wear different shades.

For this casual outfit, I wore mid-wash jeans and a light-wash trucker jacket.
